Usage Information

Take this drug by mouth, usually once daily with breakfast. In order to get the most benefit from this medication, use it regularly and at the same time each day. You may take your medicine with food or milk to avoid stomach upset. Take each dose with a full glass of water.

Dosage

For oral dosage form, in Adults - initially, 250 mg once a day, later your doctor may change your dose, if needed. In children - as suggested by doctor.

Interactions

Before using this medication, tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription medications you may use, especially of barbiturates, warfarin, bupropion, MAO inhibitors, rifamycins, sulfa drugs, diet pills, niacin, "water pills", diuretics etc.
