Usage Information

It is very important that you use ipratropium only as directed. Do not use more of it and do not use it more often. To do so may increase the chance of side effects. If you are taking this medicine every day to help control your symptoms, it must be taken at regularly spaced times as suggested by your doctor.

Dosage

The dose of ipratropium will be different for different patients. However, usual dosage for adults and children 12 years of age and older are 2 to 4 inhalations (puffs) three or four times a day, at regularly spaced times. Some patients may need up to 6 to 8 puffs three times a day.
